Hours: Mon-Fri 8-6 Sat- 8-4 KATHERINE LACAZE PHOTO Robert, left, and Rhoda Friedman, with the Impeach Obama NOW Coalition, speak with a driver passing by on U.S. Highway 101 during a protest held May 3 outside Seaside City Hall. Members of the coalition have put on numerous protests in locations across the country, but this was the first one held in Seaside. Rhoda Friedman feels they received some support for their cause and were able to have discussions about political issues with passers-by, although some people also showed disdain for the protest by calling the Friedmans “racist” and flipping them off. Another person joined the protest for a little while, Rhoda Friedman said. They hope to make it a monthly occurrence. The coalition is aimed toward getting President Barak Obama removed from office. Robert Friedman is the author of a short book, “America: We the People, Not an Obamanation,” in which he outlines 24 alleged, “and counting,” offenses Obama has committed. The Impeach Obama NOW coalition is an ad-hoc coalition, not a formal, structured organization.
