large number of the farmers residing in
Linkvilto prec'nct were in the city to
day for election ami most of them stated
that they would make a special effort to
attend the session. From all parts of
the county come the re|>orts that large
delegations will be sent. The meeting
of the Water l'*ers' Association on Fri
day afternoon will be devoted largely to
the discussion of matters pertaining to
the best interests of the reclamation
system. The amen Iment to the by
law s to change the time of holding the
tegular annual meeting will be tbe most
important matter to come up for con
sideration as far as is known. However,
other things of importance may come
up and it will be well for every me mber
ol the association to lie on hand.
No regular program will be arranged
for the institute before hand. The pre
sent plans provide for Dr. Whitycombe's
illustrated lecture Friday night and tbe
next dav tbe program will lie arranged

There is every assurance that the

needed is the full attendance of the far

order to get a great deal of benefit from
the meeting. Tbe Klamath country is

advice ami knowledge of men of vast

No definite action in regard to thia

be held either Monday or Tuesdav of

According to the terms of the fran

car line they must operate an electric or
motor car by the first of August and it
is very probable that they will put on a
motor within the next few months.
Other plans pertaining to the develop

while they are here and will be carried
out by E. It. Beanies, who is the local
manager of the company.
