English, GN master mechanic, returned this week from his vacation. From Montana R. I. Pick ett, of the Great Northern rail road, returned to work this week. He had been called to Whltefish, Mont., on Illness In the family. On Vacation R. S. Olson, assistant trainmaster for the GN, left Tuesday for a vaca tion In Spokane. Claim Agent Hare T. B. Hogan, claim agent for the GN, was In town Tuesday on business. Large Increases In the num ber of high school graduates in Klamath county In the last seven years were shown In a compilation announced by school authorities here Tuesday. A total of 3 7 3 seniors are groduating from the county's high schools this year, as com pared with 226 In 1933. This Is an Increase of 65 per cent. The figures are Inclusive of both Klamath Union high school and the nine high schools In the county school district. May 21 UP) Oregon's third and fourth class postmasters closed their annual convention here yesterday with election of Thomas R. Roe, Gas ton, as president. Other officers: Ruth E. Wal ter. Clackamas; Edith Glover, Grand Ronde: Kate F. Prey, Eastside; Georgia Casebeer, Bly, vice presidents; Von D. Seaton, Yamhill, secretary-treasurer.
