Nationwide interest was aroused two years ago when Dr. Harding submitted to an unusual and successful operation where by a section of cornea, willed to him by a Berkeley, Calif., wqm an, was transplanted to his eye, saving him from almost total blindness, OBITUARY LOREN AUSTIN DOCKERY Loren Austin Dockery, a resi dent of this city for the past 19 months, passed away en route to Klamath Falls on Tuesday, March 18. The deceased was a native of Brunswick, Mo., and was aged 27 years 4 months and 18 days when called. He is survived by his wife, Frances, and his moth er, Mrs. E. B. Dockery of this city: his father, R. L. Dockery of Greybull, Wyo.; a brother, Cal vin of Greybull, Wyo.; two sis ters, Mrs. E. F. Knapp of this city, Mrs. W. A. Collingwood of Greybull, Wyo.; a grandfather, William Bailey of Orrick, Mo., and a grandmother, Mrs. Eliza Dockery of Washington, Kansas. The remains rest in Ward's Klamath Funeral Home, 029 High street, where friends may call. Notice of the funeral ar rangements will be announced later. (Stages) AHuras. Inasmuch as there ' was a hung jury In th first, trial of this case, it was deemed necessary by th court to add to th prospective Jurors because of the probable dis qualification of jurors who had heard th previous trial. Bailey Is charged in connec tion with an automobile acci dent near the Weyerhaeuser junction In which Irving B res hears was killed. Ereshears was riding in a car driven by Bailey. Police Anked to Aid In Finding Bert Johnston Friends of Bert Johnson, 47, asked the aid of local police in their ' search for the Ewauna camp employee who failed to return to work after a weekend spent In town. Foul play was suspected by those with whom the police talked. Johnson is a Swede, 8 feet 2 inches tall, has been employed at the camp near Chlloquin for some time and is well known to lumbermen. He rode to Klamath Falls Saturday morning with friends but ha not been seen since that time. Visit la Ashland Mr. and Mrs. Headrick Baughman from Klamath Falls visited Monday with their parents.
