Capacity Crowd Seen Pictures A capacity crowd was present to see the moving picture of the Scandinavian countries at the First Covenant church Tuesday night where a aeriea of meetings Is being conducted. Dial 5188 Coast Guard to Escort Seals to Alaskan Waters ASTORIA, March 11 (UP) A large herd of Pacific seal is expected to pass off the Oregon shore within the next few days on an annual Journey to rook eries in Alaskan waters and the coast guard cutter Onondaga left the Columbia river mouth today to aearch for It. Sailors reported seeing scat tered groups of seals last week, about SO miles off shore. The coast guard escorts the herd to Alaska each year under terms of a treaty signed originally sev eral decades ago by the United States, Japan, Russia and Can ada. The treaty waa drawn up to Raiders Bomb Suez Canal CAIRO. Egypt. March 12 tPi Air raiders again bombed the Suez canal area Tuesday, but caused no damage, the Egyptian government reported. "An air raid warning was sounded early this morning in the Suez canal area, In the course of which a few bombs were dropped," the Egyptian ministry of the interior an nounced. "No damage or cas ualties resulted." (Germans aay that traffic through the Suez canal has been paralyzed by ships sunk in the channel by previous air attacks). Reward Extended For Walberts MEDFORD, March 12 VP) - The Medford Flying club today extended its $250 reward for the recovery of the bodies of Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Walbert, Medford couple, missing since last November while on a plane trip to Portland, for another month from March 13, its date of expiration. It is the third ex tension. A recently-purchased plane by the Flying club, of which the Walberts were members, will be used during the spring and sum mer, In aerial hunts for the couple. March 12 VP) Death struck for the fourth time this year at the membership of the 77th congress, when Repre sentative Pius L. Schwert, Buffalo, N. Y., democrat, suffer ed a fatal heart attack last night at a hotel dinner party. He was 48 years old. Schwert collapsed at a dinner table shortly after making a speech at the party attended by his wife and a group of congress men. He was taken to a hospital but was pronounced dead upon arrival. A former catcher for the New York Yankees, Schwert was serving his second term in Con gress.
