Camp cookery la a very poimiar project and the boys n-d girls have lot of fun cooktng out of doors and learn some very helpful things. Over 400 boy (nd girls are enrolled In th home cookery project and th work I practi cally completed tor th season. The last thing that Is required la aa exhibit at the fslr and those exhibits consist of: Divi sion 14 cookies; Division II s sponge csks; Division III a loaf of bread. FOREST LUMBER Saw began humming their way through pine log In the Forest Lumber company mm Pine Ridge Thursday when tha plant began operation again after a shut down of nearly three years. Full crews of between 75 and 100 men went back to work on an eight hour shift, according to an official ot the company, who asserted that as far as possible all th old employes bad ben taken back on the payroll. "W don't need sny jre men." this official declared Thursday afternoon, "a there ara still many In Pin Ridge whom we have not been able to employ." The Forest Lumber company's logging camp ba not ope&i I, and since there Is an ample sup ply of logs for the present It may not be necessary to start logging operation this fall.
