Klamath Kails (ulilnut shop owner, has been the first person to drive his car to Lake o' the Woods, That Is, Itoblnson was tne first to reach the lake, but Kd Dunham, who made the trip Hunday morning, waa the first to open his cablo at the lake. Robinson, accompanied hy bis wife and brother, left Klamath Falls Huturday night, and mado the trip aa fur aa the lake with ease. 11 was necessary for him to set out of the car several times to shovel snow away and break trail, ilnwever. ho did not experience as much difficulty as he did this time last year, when he had to ahovel now the last three miles Into the lake, Lata Saturday night the Robin sons attempted to take the cut-off to Klsh Lake, Instead of going to their cabin on the west aide of l.ako o' the Woods. They went a short distance, and were forced to remain over nlgbt. Sunday morning they returned to Lake o' the Woods, and found that Kd Dunham bad arrived at the lake and opened his cabin there. The Itoblnsons then continued around to the west side of the lake, breaking the road Into their cabin. Several other cars followed the two trail breakers. The road from Klamath Kails to the Rocky Point juuctlon Is reported to be In finer condition than ever before at this time of year. Dunham made the 40-mlle trip In two hours In his Studebaker.
