'" -' Why Not Santa Claus At the. special request of several Klamath Falls merchants jfhd the Klamath News, old Santa Claus will arrive in this city some time Friday night to present himself to children of this city at the Christ mas party in the Pine Tree theater Saturday morn ing, i Ihe patron saint of Yuletide festivity will give out the prizes donated by merchants, whose names appear below, for the best Santa Claus letters so all who have sent in letters td the Klamath News should be on hand. All children, regardless of whether or not they have written letters, are invited to the party, however. Harry Poole, theater 'owner, has donated his show house for the occasion and yesterday found a big Christmas tree for ihe party. Mr. Poole has also secured a bang-up rfp-roarin' western picture for the party, to be ano her of, his gifts to local kiddies. - Ira H. Pysert, manage of the Pacific Fruit and Produce company here, y sterday sent a lot of or anges to the News office for the party, while Lee W. Jacob, manager of the Mason-Ehrman company, sent up several boxes of candy for the occasion. And in addition, the Klamath News has its candy, oranges and nuts on hand for the kiddies, and is now preparing them for distribution. It's rroing to be SOME party, and the merchants and News hope eveiybody can be on hand for the fun.
