ROCKY POINT IS POPULAR PLACE Rocky Point on Upper Klamath lake has proved a popular rendei votia for week end parties, and for those who own charming little homes which dot th shore of the lake near Rocky Point. The past week end among those seen at Rocky Point Included many from Klamath Falls. On Saturday evening a dance was enjoyed in the pavilion. Sunday saw the majority of the visitors fishing In the cove. The sensation of Sunday was pro vided by little Bobby Jester, who, with his mother, Mrs. Glenn Jester, spent the past week there. FORMER STUDENTS TO GATHER SOON Former students of tho Ashland normal school, with their families are planning to leave aoon for Port Innd, where they will attend a pic nic celebrating the re-opening of the normal school. The duto has been set for June 21, Monday even ing, and the picnic will be served at S o'clock in Peninsula park. Tho Ashland normal school haa been closed sinco 1909.' Formal opening of the school will not take placo until this fall, but the build ing has been sufficiently completed to provide for a summer school this fall.
