MrNealy and Mrs. Allen Sloan presided over one cf the most In teresting meetings of the year, when they were hostesses yester day afternoon in the library club rooms for the entire library club. The subject of the afternoon was "Three Generations of Housekeep ers" In which the subject was treated in a most novel manner. Mrs. Wilbur Jones gave a review of the afternoon's program re- veallng each in its turn. Musical numbers interspersed between the numbers gave a most interesting effect to the afternoon. The next meeting of the Women's Library cluh will be held on November 13 with Mrs. D. V. Kuykendall and Mrs. Francis Olds as hostesses. The subject IU be "Culinary Day." and an exchange of recipes will be observed. Mills Association To Meet The regular October meeting of the Par-.ent-Teachers association of the Mills school will be held on Tues day afternoon at 3:00 o'clock. Fol lowing a brief business meeting In which two delegates to the state convention in Portland will be elected, tea will be served and a reception given fur all new mem bers of the association. The con vention is scheduled for October 28. 29 and 3b. All new members are urged to attend the Tuesday gath ering.
