Mr. Semon, besides being the1 ring leader of the local growers' associa--tlon, is one of theJargest, raisers of netted gems in the Klamath basin, and superintendent of the newly created potato division at the county fair. This year will be the first that potatoes have formed an ex clusive exhibit and been allotted suf ficient space to properly display one of the county's most important and remunerative commercial crops. One of the outstanding attractions of this exhibit will be the netted gems display by commercial producers, raising two or more acres. The prize-winning sacks will be auction ed at the close .of the fair,1 and proceeds revert to a revolving fund tor the furtherance of potato awards and disDlava at succeeding ' fairs.
