(Longest In the World) OFFICIAL PAPER OF THE CITY OF KLAMATH FALLS "Let us have Jaith that right makes might, and in1 that faith ' let us to the end dare to 'do our duty as vx understand it" Abraham Lincoln VACATION TIME Vacation time is at hand. The business man sits at his desk or stands behind his counter and looks out of the window. But he does not see the buildings and the streets. The buildings have become green mountains and the streets have become fast flowing streams where deep pools allure. His mind has turned to thoughts of "vacation land" and work is a miner matter. ; 'True; we live in "vacation land" the year round, where it js jojily a matter of minutes to those green hills :ind "clear streams. But the next day is always a work day and it is hard to forget the business deal . that is hanging fire or the sale that is still unmade. It is good to forget business for a couple of weeks and take the fly rod or the hiking boots and get away ; from the cares that one has for the rest of the year. Southern Oregon is a real vacation paradise. With its thousands of acres of forests and mountains, rare opportunity is given for a closer touch with na ture. No matter what one desires, whether' it be fishing, hunting, camping or a week at the beaches, all ara pasily reached in a few hours' time. . . A man may return home physically tired after hii week 'or two away from an office desk, but his mind will be clearer. He can tackle the problems he left behind him with a new zest and a new energy. It will be surprising how much easier they can be solved after such a rest than, during a time when his mind is wandering to the places he saw the year before or has yisioned as the ideal, "vacation land." Take a vacation this year. See some of the beau ty spots of our own part of Oregon. Visit the Caves, the Redwoods', the Pacific beaches,' Crater Lake or the lower Rogue. It will be worth while. DID YOU EVER STOP TO THINK THAT many business men should have a wider vision of modern business; a vision which will lead the way for increased opportunity and increased bus iness?
