Traffic Violations By Young Resulted In Four November Traffic violations by juveniles resulted in four automobile crashes during November in 4 Bridge 1 Tourneys Scheduled Beginning today, four master, point duplicate bridge tourna . ments are available to bridge players within the next seven days, according to information from the Klamath Kails I'nit Committee and the two local duplicate clubs. The first is slated for 1:30 p.m. today when the I'nit Com mittee conducts its r e s u I a r monthly MP tournament at the Winema Motor Hotel. A similar tournament is slat ed for tile Lakeshore Club Tues day morning at the city library and will be followed oy a spe cial Christmas Party at the same club Thursday evening. The remaining masterpoint is also scheduled at the city li brary. Saturday evening, when the Klamath Bridge Club holds its first Christmas Parly, a spe cial event. Symphony Members Make Trip Nine members of the Klam ath Union High School Sym phony were guests of the Uni versity of Nevada in Reno last weekend. ' - The musicians, under the di rection of director Dale Hal lack, rehearsed with the uni versity orchestra and assisted w i t h the orchestra's annual production of Handel's "Mes siah," which was presented Dec. 8 to an audience of about 3,0(10 persons. KU students making the trip were Barbara Cofer and Joe Everly, violinists; Janet Jolly. Gail Pence, Sheila Callisnn and Maureen Brennan, violists; Joyce Jolly and Sharon Calli snn, cellists, and Mary Ellen Johnck, flutist. In addition. Dean Halbert, local violinist and member of the class of !!30 at KU. made the trip. Mrs. Hallack and Mr. and Mrs. R. W. Cofcr accom panied the group. KU Plans Program The Klamath Union High School music department's an nual Christmas program will be presented at Mills School au ditorium next Thursday evening atsjl o'clock. M. Dale Hallack, director of music, said that the a cappella choirs, the symphony orchestra and the Madrigal Singers will lie featured in 'a program of Christmas music, expected tn be one hnur and 15 minutes in length. Both sacred and secular Christmas music will he pre sented. Included w ill be a com bined choir and orchestra selec tion. Drivers Accidents have resulted in 33 auto crash es, four of them producing bod ily injury and two of them fa talities. Total property dam ages from these accidents have been set at (15.916.83. Of the November citation to tal. 41 were handed to boys and six to girls. Tlie greatest num ber of violators were between the ages of 16.7 and 17.6 years. The tickets resulted in two partial license suspensions, two susiensions of 60 days or less and two of more than 60 day.
