Pratt became the bride of Corbyn Roche Pomeroy Jr. on Nov. 3 at First Church of God in a double ring cere mony performed by the Rev. Charles T. Buckle. The bride is the daughter of Mrs. G. H. Bushman. Portland, and L. C. Pratt of this city, who pave her in marriage. Mr. and Mrs. Charles T. Ford, this city, are parents of the bridegroom. Ann Ackerman was organist. Soloist was Jerre Oliver. For her wedding the bride chose a ballerina gown of white brocade in rose pattern fash ioned with V neckline and three quarter sleeves. A pearl crown held the shoulder veil. She car ried a bouquet of white carna tions. Cathy Johnson, maid of honor, was dressed in a blue wool sheath with while accessories. Her bouquet was of pink carna tions. Donald A. Rider was best man and ushers were James L. Pratt and Charles Foril Jr. Mrs. Bushman wore for her daughter's wedding a blue en semble with orchid corsage. Mis. Ford was dressed in lav ender with white accessories an complementary orchid cor sage. The wedding reception was held in Youth Hall of the church. Helen Schreiner served the cake and Melda Cox presided at the coffee service. The new Mrs. Pomeroy's go ing away outfit was a blue sheath with black accessories. The newlyweds are at home at 1224 Monclaire Street. Both are graduates of Klamath Union High School. Mrs. Pomeroy is employed by Pacific Finance Company. Her husband is a member of the Naval Reserve and is an employe of Klamath Hardwoods. Dinner Staged Tlie Women's Missionary So ciety of Immanuel Baptist Church recently staged a for eign dish progressive dinner, starting with appetizers at the home of Helen Dortch. These appetizers were ones priginated in the old country. Next the group went to Ann Luquers' (or salads represent ing Italy, Switzerland and Ha waii. The main courses were served at theAlloway home, and included Italian spaghetti. Italian eggplant. Hungarian meat balls. Chinese chow mein. spice island tea and homemade breads. . The dinner was followed by the regular meeting at the church. Ruby Alloway, in charge of the program, presented (our high school girls who narrated slides from Thailand and ex plained exhibits (torn N e w Guinea. The prcgram was followed bv devotions by Mrs. E. V. Zeil and the business meeting. Concluding the evening was the dessert, a choice of Lm. on Bisque from France, Cheesecake 'Germany . Ha waiian Delight or German Chocolate cake.
