The art gallery in Maple Park will be open Dec. 10 from 2 until 9 p.m. and on Dec. I I from 7 until 9 p.m. The last bid on auction items will be made at 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 1 1. Leo Karczag, mem ber of the Klamath Art Association, is shown with several items and paintings illustrating several different media of work included in the sale. Toastmistress Meet Scheduled Ewauna Toastmistress Club will hold its last meeting for the year 19IS3 Dec. B, at 7:30 p.m. at the Wincma Hotel. Ori entation class convenes at 7 p.m. just preceding the regular meeting. Dorothy Hearon will lead the flag salute to be followed by in spiration prepared bv Irene Payne. Ellen Shunn will present the lexicology lesson and Lillian Hill will serve as grammarian. Timer, Millie Swisher, will em ploy the new timing method throughout the meeting. Topicmistress, rtowena Mc-, Donald, will present each spenk cr with a topic for the two-minute impromptu talks. President, Beverly Ellis, will conduct election of officers dur ing the business 'portion of tlie meeting. These officers will be Installed Jan. 3, 1!KM. Their term of office extends through June, l!X4. Marion Miller as toastmistress for the evening will introduce the program: a prepared speech by Lois Jacob; an edu cational feature "How to Make Announcements" by Margaret Davics, Irene Payne and Dor othy Hearon; a workshop "The Voice Is You" by It a m o n a Smith. General cvaluator will be Becky Campbell. Lodge Meets Neighbors of Woodcraft met Nov. 3 for a birthday dinner at Harold's followed by a regular meeting in the KC Hall with Thelma Roller pre siding. Willan M o r a c h e was pre sented the mother of the year gift by Verna Wenner and Viv ian Floetkc. Songs were sung by Eleanor Cook and Barbara Adams. Thimble Club hostesses were Gerty Huff and. Angelia Malani at the home of Susie Harris. The lodge met again on Nov. 18 with presentation of pins the highlight of the meeting. Effie Rcdkey received a 50 ycar pin and Bertha Hewitt, one for 39 years. Thirty five year pins were awarded to Martha Gilchrist, E.siia .Miller, Willan Morache, Mildred Smith and Elsie Itamsoy. , , ' These honored members were led to the camp fire and giveij their pins by Neva Hayes and Susie Harris. Present for the meeting es pecially for the pin ceremony was Mabel Mathney of Eugene. Refreshments were served by the committee composed of .Maude Holmes, Eva Y n u n g, Lois Gray and Jennie Charles. On Nov. 21 members of the Thimble Club met for a pot luck lunch at the home of Elva Weaver.
