Duggari, 3033 Sum mers Lane; Gordon L. Luft, 422 North Third Street: Steven R. Owen. 619 North Eighth Street; Gary A. Sommers, 1905 Sargent Street; and Garry L. Wilson. 325 Main Street. All except Dug gan are seniors at Klamath Un ion High School. Duggan gradu ated from KUHS la:t June. Walter K. Killian. a member of the local Naval Reserve fa cility, has returned to Klamath Falls from a two-year tour of , active duty. He joined the re serve at KUHS and went on active duty upon graduation from high school in 1961. While on active duty, he served aboard the USS Coral Sea in the Orient. He intends to enter Oregon ' Technical Institute in January. Kenneth E. Jones, aviation fire control technician third class and son of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert E. Jones of Klamath Falls, is serving with Navy Fighter Squadron 111 in San Di ego, Calif. Boyd J. Irvine, electronics technician third class and son of .Mr. and Mrs. Earl M. Irvine of Maim, is serving aboard the submarine tender L'SS Holland, which operates out of Charles ton, SC. Victor A. Lewis, seaman ap prentice and son of Mrs. Etlicl Zevely of Klamath Falls, is serving aboard the attack air craft carrier USS Kitty Hawk. The Kitty Hawk's home port is San Diego, Calif., but the ship is currently in the Far East w ith the Seventh Fleet. Also aboard the Kitty Hawk is Richard A. Slayton. son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas H. Slay ton of Klamath Falls. Pvt. Dan R. Malley. son of Mr. and Mrs. George F. Malley of Klamath Falls, is studying at the Army Information School, Fort Slocum, N Y. Malley. a 1962 graduate of Klamath Un ion High, joined the Army Aug. The Klamath Falls Army Re serve Company H has received a boost in manpower with the transfer of two men to the com pany. Staff Sgt. Jerome S. Smith came to the local unit from Corvallis and Pfc. James G. Monroe came from Madras. Smith, a graduate of the Uni versity of North Dakota, is working on his master's degree from Oregon State Universi ty. Monroe is studying electron ics at Oregon Technical Insti tute. Smith w ill become the com pany's senior drill instructor and Monroe will be a clerk. Marine Pvt. Mary E. Castro, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Har ry Castro of Klamath Falls, has completed a 15-day leave in Klamath Falls alter graduation from recruit (raining at Parris Island, S.C. She is stationed at Quanlico, Va. Army Reserve Pvt. Thurston K. Henzel. son of Mrs. Mabel Henzel of Klamath Falls, has completed a food service course at Fort Ord, Calif. He received instruction in various phases of Army cooking and modern methods of food preparation. He is a 1963 graduate of Klamath Union High. Army Pfc. Robert L. Wash burn. 20. son of Mrs. Edith E. Dyer of Klamath Falls, has qual ified as "expert" in the firing of the M-14 rifle in Germany. He is a warehouseman near Mannheim. Germany. He en tered tlie Army in December. 1961. Bill M. Hoyez. son of Mrs. Dorothy Hoyez of Lakeview, w as promoted to specialist Jour last month while serving with the 4th Transportation Company near Hanau, Germany. Ho en tered the Army in May. 1962. Hoyez is the son of Floyd Hoyez of Klamath Falls. Bennie D. Lambert, seaman and son of Mr. and Mrs. Ben Lambert of Klamath Falls, is serving aboard the fleet oiler USS Cimarron, which participat ed in Exercise Flying Moor Oc tober 21-26 in the Eastern Pa cific. Richard Davis, gunner's mate first class and son of Mr. and Mrs. John C.
