Ehrlich's office in San Francisco
had been in contact with her

Oregon State Police are in
vestigating the theft of bowl
ing equipment from an automo
bile parked in the driveway of
the owner. Mrs. Wylene La
Plante. 5229 Cottage Avenue, it
was reported Tuesday.
Mrs. LaPlante told police that
a white bowling bag containing
a bowling ball and shoes valued
at some $W) was removed from
her car sometime Monday
night. The victim did not indi
cate whether the vehicle was
locked at the time of the
theft.
