The trip is an observance of their 25th wedding anniversary which was Nov. 1. Mr. and Mrs. McAuliffe were married in Chiloquin where the bride, the former Helen Fisher, was teaching school. This year's well attended event was staged in a setting of autumn decor highlighted with red and blue glass candles on the tables and multi-colored mobiles hung from the ceiling. Introduced and escorted were Lorene iMcCollum. grand mar shal of the grand chapter of Oregon, Lois Gueek, anil Elmer Vincent, past worthy matron and patron of iManzanita chap ter, who installed iMarilyn Sig mund as Martiha for the ensu ing year. Lucille Crawley was also in troduced as Mother Adviser for Rainbow for Girls who in turn introduced a group of girls from tlie Assembly of Rainbow for Girls. Distinguished guests intro duced and escorted to the cast at 1he Oct. 23 meeting were Kenneth Blair, worthy grand pa tron; Marjorie Jones, associate grand conductress; Gwen Blair, grand Ruth, and Lorene IMcCol lum, grand marshal of the Grand Chapter of Oregon. Har old Rush of the home endow ment committee, Virginia Zum brun of the credential commit tee, and Rosalie Hohack, repre sentative of Colorado in Oregon of the Grand Chapter of Ore gon, were also introduced and escorted. Other guests intro duced were Carrie Rush and Orval Alley, worthy matron and patron of Aloha Chapter, and Claudia Martin, worthy matron of Bend Chapter. Marjorie Jones, who was making her official visil. assist ed all the officers in Uheir work during the school of instruc tions. A smorgasbord dinner preced ing this meeting was held at the Kingfalls restaurant. .. Friendship .Night of Maiizaiiila Chapter will be held ,ov. 13 ' If C"T' rt , Library Club Sets Meeting The Klamath Falls Woman's Library Club will meet Mon day, Nov. 11, at 2 p.m. in the city library club rooms. President Mrs. Phil Schroeder announces that Gene Favell w ill be the speaker. His topic will be "Americanism." The musical portion of the meeting will be vocal solos by Mrs. Ray Kecsling, accompan ied by Marie Obenchain. SURPRISE The Yacht Club party was also the birthdate of the club s financial sec retary, Dick Bowors, and as a surprise a gaily decorated cake was presented to him at intermission time. Here he is coached in cutting the cake by Mrs, Bowers. Mrs. Bowers also assisted the Evans with dance decorations. at 8 p.m. in dhe Scottish Rite Temple.
