, PAGE 8B HERALD AND Five Enter Exposition - LAKEVIEW On Friday, Oct. 18, five boys of the FFA and the chapter adviser, Robert El den, traveled to Portland to compete in the livestock judg ing contest at the Pacific In ternational Livestock Exposi tion. Those making the trip were Richard Partini John Leehmann, Melvin Dick, Bill Tracy, and Ron Honnold. The judging contest was held Saturday morning, with each chapter in Oregon. Washington and Idaho represented' by a team of three boys. Lakeview's team was made up of Partin, Tracy, and Leehmann. Inthe six classes of livestock to be judged, three were beef, two were swine, and one was sheep. The team did not place high enough to be in the top 15 teams. Red Moon Trip MOSCOW (UPD-Sovict Pre mier Nikita Khrushchev said today the Soviet Union has not given up its lunar project and would possibly launch a man to the moon when it is certain he "can safely be sent back." Khrushchev discussed moon and other space problems in a marathon interview with a group of American business ex ecutives visiting Moscow.
