tour in both Canada and t h e

'Paul Kuentz, founder and di
rector of the Paris Chamber
Orchestra, was a student of
l'Ecole Superieure de Musique
of Paris and a winner of its
first prize. He organized his en
semble some 10 years ago from
among other prize winners of
the conservatory. The group
presented its first concert in
April, 1951, and met with in
stantaneous success. Since then
the young players have been
heard in more than 500 con-

High'Wire Act Tumbles Again, 3 Hurt

tight wire on which the "Great
Wallendas" were practicing
their famed circus act snapped
Tuesday, plunging tlie troupe to
the ground and injuring three
members.
The accident occurred while
tlie Wallendas were attempting
to construct their famous seven
man pyramid on a light wire
12 feet above tlie ground.
It marked tlie first lime they
had attempted the feat since
two of them were killed in a fa
