From a hollowed '- out pumpkin, serve punch in paper cups. Good recipe for witches' brew punch: two cans fro7.en lemonade, one quart apple juice, one pint gingerale com bined. MOLASSES COOKIE WITCHES 23i cups flour 3 teaspoons baking powder 'i teaspoon salt 4 teaspoon ginger 1 teaspoon cinnamon i teaspoon cloves 1 egg 2-3 cup molasses 1-3 cup light brown sugar 'i cup melted shortening Combine dry ingredients and sift into a large bowl. Beat egg with molasses, sugar, shorten ing. Combine two mixtures and blend thoroughly. Shape dough into a ball, wrap in wax paper and chill two to three hours. Roll nut '" thick on lightly floured board and cut into witches. Place on greased cook ie sheet: hake in a moderately hot oven, 375 degrees, eight to 10 minutes. Makes about 16-18.
