Classes will begin next Wed nesday at 7 a.m. when students will report to registration rooms at the school to receive their schedules. A completely revamped bus schedule will greet students this year, lnnis Roberts, director of transportation, has divided the bus load into eight routes, one of which has two sections. Route 1 makes the first stop at 6:10 at South Sixth and Mad ison and arrives at the school at 6:30 a.m. Then, the bus returns to the area to begin Route 1-a at Washburn Way and Eberlein at 6:33. Routes, starting points and starting times follow. A complete picture of the various routes is shown on this page. Route 2, Altament and Board man. 6:23: Route 3, Washburn and Hilyard, 6:20; Route 4. Shas ta and Moyina. 6:25: Route S, Nevada and Kiln. 6:10; Route 6, Hagclstein Park, 6:00; Route 7. OT1, 6:25; and Route 8. Veatch residence, 5:45. This schedule is for 10th, lllh and 12th grades only. Freshmen will report next Wednesday to classes starting at 12: 15 p.m. and bus departure times from vari ous stops will vary accordingly. On Friday, orientation day, buses will run on the regular routes, beginning about 11:45. The orientation program will start at 1 p.m. Besides changes m the bus schedule, school officials have made alterations in the fee sys tem. Students should plan to pay fees on the first day of school. There will be a $.1 fee for physical education if the student is registered in that class. Sen iors will pay a $3.75 cap and gown fee and all students have the option of paying the $5 stu dent activity fee. Books may be rented from the high school for $9 per student or purchased elsewhere from a high school list. The cafeteria will sc"ve snacks, sandwiches, ice cream and milk shakes during the three rest pe riods and will be open to those students that have elected six classes and to ninth grade ath letes during the noon hour. Be cause of limited facilities in the cafeteria, other toih, 11th and 12th grade students are re quested by school officials to cat lunch at home after the end of the school day at 11:55 a.m. and ninth graders whose schedules begin at 12:20 p.m. were asked to eat lunch before reporting to classes. On the first day of school next Wednesday, there will be grade level meetings to explain school procedures that are new to the school because of the split shift.
