BASIN BRIEFS BONANZA MRS. MAE MURCH has re turned to her home at Paradise, Calif., after a few days with her nephew and niece, Mr. and Mrs. Howrey Roberts. MR. AND MRS. BEN MC CRACKEN and two daughters of Kirkland, Wash., spent the week end with her mother, Mrs. Annie Romtvedt, and brother Fred. The took their son Ben Jr. home after several weeks of visiting here. MRS. TED CARNES, daughter of Mrs. Carrie Lovelady, is in Klamath Valley Hospital, Klam ath Falls, recovering from eye surgery. MR. AND MRS. FRANK BROWN and Trudy are spending a few days in Portland. MR. AND MRS. MIKE DEAR BORN and Mr. and Mrs. Mark Dearborn spent several days fishing at Dead Horse Lake. Ted Dearborn and Larry Beck joined them for the weekend. BONANZA ANTLER'S DEN will open for business Aug. 17 at 10 a.m. Janet Fernlund and Fern Wescott are the owners. , MR. AND MRS. ROY NICH OLS and three children of Whit- tier spent a few days in Langell Valley with his brother, L. F. Nichols, and family. BONANZA WOMEN'S CLUB is having a picnic at Malin Park Tuesday, Aug. 27. Coffee and iced lea will be furnished, but picnick ers were asked to bring their own table service. Friends are invited. LANGELL VALLEY HOME EXTENSION I'NIT will meet at the home of Esther Kcysor. 10 a.m. Sept. 4. It will be the first meeting and Hens) Boten will teach casserole cooking. Mrs. Rueck visited with her I brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Selander, of Portland. DAIRY MRS. RICHARD MARTYR and her daughter, Diane, and her mother, Mrs. Crabtrce. visited in Langell Valley with Mrs. Frank Brown and Trudy one day last week. MRS. RAY JONES and son Steve of Grants Pass spent the weekend in Dairy with Mr. and Mrs. Les Jones and left her two daughters, Beverly and Jeanettc, for a week with the grandparents. DON PHILPOTT and daughter Carol left for Portland Aug. 15 where Philpott's brother. Ward, had major eye surgery. Their mother.
