The bride is the daughter of 'Mr. and Mrs. Donald A. Ambers hr. and was given in marriage !.hy her father. The bridegroom is ilthe son of Mrs. Clara Stenseng, ; Clear brook, Minn ; Chaplain William A. Thoresen of JKingsley Chapel officiated at the ;'J p.m. service. Mrs. Alfred Soren Vcn was the organist. Mr. and vMrs. Bill Davenport were soloists. The bridal gown was of import .'ed Chantilly lace with Queen Anne .collar trimmed with pearls and .sequins. A cascade of lace and .tulle tiers swept into a chapel .train. A pearl and crystal crown ; held the elbow length illusion veil. ;xind she carried a white cascade j'of roses and carnations. Joyce Ann Johnson was maid ? of honor, dressed in a dark blue (taffeta sheath with matching bell' shaped overskirt. Blue slippers' 'and brief blue veil topped with satin rose completed her outfit. She wore white gloves and car ried a cascade of light blue car liaiions. t Bridesmaids were Mrs. Greg ILundmark, Willamina, sister of Mie bridegroom and Mrs. Donald Ambers, sister-in-law of the brother-in-law of the bridegroom, was best man. Ushers were Don' aid Ambers Jr., brother of the bride, and Robert Stenseng, Clear brook, Minn., the bridegroom's brother. The ushers also served as candlelighters. Mrs. Ambers chose for the cere mony a champaigne lace dress with matching hat and shoes of rose pink. Mrs. Stenseng wore light green linen dress with white accessories. Both mothers had pink rose corsages. Blue and white gladioli were used for the reception decor in the church parlors. The five tiered wedding cake, decorated with blue roses and doves, was served by Mrs. Bob Arrington. Vancouv. er. Wash., and Mrs. Charles Carty, Albany, aunts of the bride. Two other aunts, Mrs. Robert Robert son, Portland, and Mrs. Walter Ambers, this city, poured punch and colfee The gift table was attended by Mrs. Robert Van Wyck and thel guest book by Beverly Lloyd, Mil- waukie, cousin of the bride. Packets of rice tied in blue net with blue satin ribbon and mini ature wedding bands were given guests by Robbie and Valeric Robertson, Portland, cousins of the bride. For going away, the new Mrs. Stenseng changed to a mint green linen suit with white patent ac cessories and the white rose cor-, sage from her bridal bouquet. Klamath Falls took place Saturday, Aug. 10, at 4 p.m in Mount Olivet Metho dist Church, Arlington, Va. The Rev. Herscjiel J. Lynch brother of the bride, officiated Given in marriage bv her un cle. William Edgar Williams, the bride wore a gown of silk or ganza appliqued with Alencon lace. Her veil fell from a crown of orange blossoms and seed pearls and she carried a Bible with an orchid and stcphanotis. Martha Lynch was her sister's maid of honor. Wedding News Told Announcements were received this last week telling of the mar riage of James A. Finnigan to the former Janet Em, daughter of James D. Tullis, Oakland, Calif. The wedding was an event of July 27. The Finnigans arc former res idents of Klamath Falls. Attending the wedding were the bridegroom's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Matt Finnigan, Spokane, his brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Matt Finnigan Jr., Spo kane, and his brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Bob Scott, Beaverton, and their children. Andrus of Redding an nounce the engagement and forthcoming marriage off their daughter, Sharon Lee, to Ronald Harry Fredriclcs, son of Dr. and Mrs. Harry James Fredrieks of this city. The wedding will take place Sept. 14 in Redding. The fu ture bride is a graduate of Shasta Hiqh School and at tended Shasta College. This fall she will study lab tech nology at the University of Oregon in Eugene where the couple will reside after their wedding. Her fiance is a senior business administration major at the university and is affiliated with Sigma Phi Epsilon. He previously attended Oregon State University.
