ty Fairgrounds is a picture of the
living west. Here in this pictur
esque setting in the sleepy west
ern town of Cedarville, entertain
ment, excitement, and fun galore
is in store for all as Modoc Coun
ty springs to life Aug, 23, 24,
and 25 or the annual Modoc Coun
ty Fair.
This year as always the fair
will cater to young and old alike
with every type of entertainment
to fit the taste of the most rugged
buckaroo or the cosmopolite. The
lovers of the old west will thrill
to the drama of the most west
ern amateur rodeo to be held
in the northwest featuring the wild
and wnoly bucking string of Dick
Henley High
Reunion Dated
Ij'e first five-year reunion (or
the Henley High School class of
1958 will he held at the Malin
Park, Sunday, Aug. 18, starting
at 10 a.m.
Bruce Durant , was the senior
class president. There were 40
members.
A number of out-of-town mem
bers are expected.
Hemstcad. The rodeo with wild
saddle bronc riding, calf roping,
bull riding, bareback riding and
team roping will be held Saturday
and Minday afternoons.
Each afternoon at the rodeol

Jamison, the world famous dare
devil diver will dive from a 100
foot tower into a six foot deep
tun of water covered with blaz
ing gasoline.

fair fun. Medals the clown will
entertain on the gay way the
three days.
The Roberts Carnival, a horse
show Friday afternoon and 43 ex
hiblts in the fair buildings will add
more and more entertainment to
the fun filled three days.
Topping the three - day event
will be the mile long parade
down the streets of Cedarville to
the fairgrounds Sunday morning.
