Commanding the iocal batteries are Cap!. Richard I,. Gilchrist, Battery C. and Capt. Leonard D. Springer, Battery B. Both local batteries are equipped with 40 MM self propelled guns used for air defense. The civil ian soldiers will have an oppor tunity to get experience in live firing exercises on the guns they have become familiar with, but not fired, during training at the local armory.
