L. iJuidi, Klamath Falls, and Jack C. DeVaul, son of Mr. and Mrs. JDrval DeVaul, Lorclla. Rites were jjfficiated by the Rev. George Murphy at St. Pius X Catholic J,'hurch. Vows were exchanged before an altar decorated with bouquets of Vhite chrysanthemums and blue tock. Baskets of the same flow Jrs accented the bride's theme of clue and while. Mrs. Rtnald Ormsby, organist. Accompanied Mrs. Jim Lcgget nvho sang "Panis Angelicus" and J'Ave Maria." The bride was given in mar riage by her great-uncle, Sislo .Hapalli of Santa Cruz, Calif. She vore a white nylon organza gown fashioned with full skirt, lace bod ice and sleeves. Traces of lace Jvere also on the skirt. Her fin gertip veil was held by a dainty trown of crystal and seed pearls. The bridal bouquet consisted of Jhree white yellow-throated bids on a mother-of-pcarl prayer Jiook, gift of the bride's great-aunt, Mrs. Sisto Rapalli. She had the Jraditional blue garter made for her by the bridegroom's sister, ills. Paul Fitzhugh. A sixpence in tier slipper was worn formerly iy the bride's sister, Mrs. Robert Iodine at lier wedding. The tride's only jewelry was a dia fnond pendant, gift of the bride, groom. Attendants for the bride were! Jlrs. Robert Floding. her sister matron of honor, and Yvonne Cox tousin of the bridegroom,' brides maid. They were identically Jrcssed in frocks of blue organdy ever darker blue taffeta. White (lower embroidery trimmed the full skirts. They carried lace fans arranged with blue orchids and headpieces and gloves along with blue slippers completed their out fits. Little Louanne Floding, niece of the bride, was flower girl and wore a dress of white organdy with headpiece of blue and white carnations. David Fitzhugh, ne phew of the bridegroom, was ring bearer. The bride's mother was dressed in a navy blue silk dress trimmed with powder blue with matching jacket and bone accessories. The mother of the bridegroom wore a beige jacket dress with pink ac cessories. Both women wore pink! rosebud corsages. Best man was Jim Womack. Ushers were the bride's brother-in-law, Robert Floding and Joe Sellars. After the ceremony a reception was held at Rcamcs Golf and Country Club where a buffet luncheon was served. Champagne was poured by Paul Fitzhugh, brother-in-law of the bridegroom and Paul Gregory. Cake was served by Mrs. Martin Gift and coffee bv a cousin of the bride groom, Mrs. Harold Cox. The children's punch bowl was attended by Linda Fernlund. Mrs. Paul Fitzhugh was in charge of! the guest book. Music for dancing was provided by Dennis Coffee, Rudy Hornby and Bruce Allen. The bride wore a navy linen dress, matching navy and white coat and white patent accessories for her going away attire. An or chid from her bi'idal bouquet com-l plemented her outfit. After a short honeymoon the couple is at home in Reno. The bride is a 1963 graduate of Maryl- hurst College and will teach school this fall at Stead Air Base. The bridegroom is employed by the Nugget Club in East Reno. Out-of-town guests included Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Conley, Grants Pass; Mr. and Mrs. Paul Fitz hugh and children. Soap Lake, Wash.; Mr. and Mrs. Walter Fos ter and Mickey. Monterey: Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Womack. Sattley, Calif.. Mrs. Ken Waters and daughters. Montague. Ferrell. daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. P. Linman, and Richard D. Harlan, son of Mr. and Mrs. Earl R. Harlan. West Lafayette, lnd., recited their marriage vows July 4 at St. Paul's Episcopal Church. White carnations were on the; altar lor the 10 a.m. double ring ceremony performed by the Rev. Robert L. Greene. Tom Radcliffe was acolvte. Linda Hanville was the organ ist. Soloist was Marsha Griggs. The bride, given in marriagei by her father, wore a lovely white gown of silk organza over taf feta. Tlij fitted bodice was trimmed with recmbroidered lace with bows of organza accenting' cascade of lace, slightly of f-i center, from the neckline to the fiem of the floor length bell kirt. A petal pillbox held the bouffant fingertip veil. The bridal bouquet was fashioned of white carnations and pink rosebuds with ivy. The traditional blue garter was a gift of Mrs. Rolfe Lungrecn. Attached to it was a1 length of ribbon, memento of the 2oth .anniversary party of. Mr. nd Mrs. Kenneth Overton of North L'mpqua. close friends of the bridegroom. Something old was the stone in the engagement ring which was a family heir loom. The bride's sister, Carolyn Ferrell, was her maid of honor. She was dressed in pink ganza over taffeta fashioned with floor length bell skirt and bodice trimmed in pink embroidery. On her head was a small pillbox hat, briefly veiled. Pink and white carnations formed her nosegay Best man was Bill G. Onstott and ushers were Kirk Ewart and Don Christensen. all of Steam boat Ranger Station. Assistins the usners was UeOrge Verling. the tlower girl was Laura Moore of San Mateo, who wore! a floor length dress of pink, lace trimmed, and carried a white basket of petals. Mrs. Linman chose for the oc casion a blue suit of Doiippion; silk with blue and white acces sories and a corsage of white carnations and pink rosebuds. The wedding reception took place in the church parlors which were decorated with flowers civ- en bv li ma Barker. I lie cake was five tiered and was topped with three satin bells. Serving were Mrs. Rolfe Lun green, Mrs. Richard Hicks. Mrs. Leonard Oberg. Mrs. Noel Flynn, Mrs. Lewis Hodges, Mrs. James Medley. Medford. and Mrs. Nor- mand Moore, San Mateo. Linda; Hicks was in charge of the guest book. ' Greta Hicks distributed: small bags of pink and white rice. The ncwlywcds planned their honeymoon to include a visit with the bridegroom's parents in In diana. They returned via Arkan sas, Kansas and Nevada. For traveling the new Mrs. Harlan wore a coral, green and beige sheath in floral print with coral mohair sweater and beige accessories. They will make their home at Steamboat Ranger Station, Idle- yld Park, Ore., where he is em ployed as a forester with the for est scrvicei The bride is a grad uate of Oregon Technical Insti tute and before her marriage was employed as a medical technolo gist in Tucson, Ariz. Her. hus band is a graduate of Purdue University. July :, 1963 PAGE SB Sara encne O Jcee LAKEVIEW-St. Patrick Cath olic Church in Lakeview was the setting or the nuptial mass and wedding ceremony uniting Sara Jenene O'Keeffe of Menlo Park. Calif., and Fred S. Schadler of Denver. Colo., on Saturday, July 13, at 10:30 in the morning. The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Nora O'Keeffe and the late John J. O'Keeffe of Adcl, and the bridegroom is the son of Mrs. Lucio Jaurena and the late Ed ward L. Schadler of Fort Bid well, Calif. Bouquets of pink and white stock were on the altars and banked the altar rails for the double ring ceremony performed by Father A. R. Miller. Micki Morales, San Jose, Calif., was the soloist, accompanied on the organ by Mary Lee Scoville. Escorted to the altar by her brother, Henry J. O'Keeffe, Adel, the bride was in traditional white in a floor-length gown of imported tulle in an all-over lily of the valley pattern. The bouffant skirt cascaded in tiers into a chapel train and the fitted bodice was outlined with a scoop neck and long sleeves. A wreath of lilies of the valley held the circular finger tip veil of French silk illusion. She wore a heart-shaped pendant en orusted with pearls and centered with a pearl and diamond, and matching earrings, a gift of the bridegroom. bride, was matron of honor. Her street length frock of white lace was fashioned with an empire waistline and bell skirt. Accents of pink were in the sash at the waistline w ith matching shoes and the crown headdress. She carried white and pink rosebuds. Flower girl was Margaret Mary O'Keeffe, niece of the bride. Her dress was of white silk organza with full skirt on which were ap pliqued roses with seed pearls. The pink accent was in the sash John Henry O'Keeffe, nephew o! the bride, was ring bearer. Jack Mcdonald, brother-in-law of the bridegroom, was best man and ushers were Mike Mcdonald and Jerry Mcdonald, Fort Bid- well, Calif., nephews, and Bob Alger, Lakeview. A suit dress of silk shantung in raspberry shade was worn by the bride's mother, with flowered hat in shades of pink. She wore a white orchid corsage. Mrs. Jaurena wore a green frock with deep pink hat, and w h i t e or chid corsage. Bouquets of pink and white stock were again used for deco rative accents at the parish hall where the reception followed the ceremony. Tlie cake was cut by Dr. Cornelia Robertson. Assisting at the coffee and tea table were Mrs. Tom O'Keeffe. Mrs. Dan O'Keeffe. Mrs. Carter Fetsch, Mrs. Barry Taylor, Mrs. Tom McAuliffe and Mrs. Jack Nicol. At the gift table were Mrs. Sam Start ami Mrs. Rod Johnson and assisting with the guest book and the punch bowl were Virginia Start and Patricia Mcdonald. The bride's travel costume con sisted of a wheat colored suit dress with matching bag and shoes. The new Mrs. Schadler is a graduate of St. Mary's School of Nursing in San Francisco and of the San Francisco College I o r Women. She has been a school nurse at Sunnyvale, Calif. Her hisband is a graduate of the Uni versity of the Pacific at Stock ton, Calif., and is employed with the Muskegon Piston Iting Com pany with headquarters at Den ver, where they will make their home.
