Thursday, Friday and Saturday tournament will have Khe Basin's National All Stars. the tournament favorites, taking on the West All-Stars of the South Suburban League. The West is one of the dark horses in the league. That game will begin at 7 p.m. Wednesday. The second game on Wednes day night has the American League All - Mars of the Basin League taking on the Cal-Ore League Stars which is made up primarily of players from Lake view and Alturas. The Thursday games will find the loser of game one playing loser of game two. The , second game will find the South Suburban East All Stars taking on the winner of the firt game at 9 p.m. Friday's action will find the loser of game four taking on the winner of the game between loser of game one and two. The other game Friday will have the win ner of the East -first game win ner taking on the victor of the American-Cal-Ore clash at 9 p.m. Saturday s slate will find the winner of the East Stars-first game winner taking on the winner of the Cal-Ore-American clash. That winner takes on the losers' bracket winner which has the loser of game six taking on the winner between loser of game four and the winner of game three. The National League All-Stars, with one of the strongest teams since the forming of Babe Ruth here, is the favorite of the tour nament. Should they get past this tournament, they could be one of the better teams in the state. That team is composed of Bob Moore, Bob Williams, Rick and Greg Brosterhous, Ken Gray, Dave Ly man, Larry Robertson, Ken Pound, Mike McNery, Arie De- Groot, Alan Mezger', Mike North Russ' Smith, Kim Badley and Steve Huettl. The American All-Star team is made up of Jim Drew, Gene Harp, Sam Mcheen, Rick Lynn, Doug Zarosinski, Jim Phillips. If construction ever is compel led on a new multi-million dollar sports complex, then the Raiders will be "in" and will become valuable property. If the complex is rejected, then it's goodbye Raiders and a hundle of cash. . . Every coach in the west pre dicts that University of Southern California's football team will completely dominate all play in college circles on the Pacific slope this fall. Only team with n chance to upend the Trojans is UCLA. Jim Ray Hart, the rookie in fielder of the San Francisco Giants who was sidelined by a bean-ball in his first day in the majors, still has his arm in a sling and won't be ready for ac tion for another six weeks. . .
