Their friends and family were guests at a buffet sup per at the McCready Ranch on the Upper Sprague River. A September wedding is planned. The bride-to-be is a graduate of George Wythe High School and is employed at Reynolds Metals Com pany in Richmond. McCreadys Note 60 Years CH1LOQUIN - The McCready Ranch on Upper Sprague River, east of Cmloqum, was the meet ing place of many old friends and acquaintances of Franklin and Nellie McCready, when they cel ebrated their 60th wedding anni versary on Sunday, June 23. Mr. and Mrs. McCready were married in Hemmingford, Neb. in 1(103, and came west to Klam ath County in 1914 where they made their home. The couple have (our daughters, Mrs. Jeanette Barnes, Klamath Falls, Mrs. No- rine Plummer, Sunnyvale, Calif., Mrs. Helen Marske, Dunsmuir, and Mrs. Pauline Harris, Chilo quin. Six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren round out the family tree. A buffet supper was served from 4 to 6 p.m. A beautiful three tiered white cake decorat ed with silver and pink trimming graced the bountiful table. Mrs. McCready was dressed in a stunning pink lace dress with white orchids. Approximately 90 people at tended the celebration. The guest book was passed by two great grandchildren, Earl Harris and Michele Koblein. Those attending from out-of- state were Mr. and Mrs. Reginald Acres, Mr. and Mrs. Frank White, Burton White, Mr. and Mis. Emile Pozas, all of Sunnyvale; Mr. and Mrs. Ciro Barbaccia, San Jose, Mr. and Mrs. Gerry Marcus, Men lo Park, Mr. and Mrs. Emmctt Stout, Redding. Nieces present were Mr. and Mrs. Bob Sanders, Modesto, Mrs. Ruth Ohlson, Jan, Galen, and Nor man, Modesto, a nephew, How ard McCready, Red Bluff, a granddaughter, Mr. and Mrs. Mike Koblein and Michele, Mcr lyn Bell, Dunsmuir, Mr. and Mrs. Al Marske. Dunsmuir, and Mr, and Mrs. W. K. Plummer, Sunnyvale. ON WAY TO ISLANDS Mrs. Neil (Mary Loul Mc Crary and her two daughters, Sandra, almost 5, in front, and Terry, 8, visited her parents, Dr. and Mrs. Marshall Poole naar Chiloquin before leaving for Honolulu where tha family will reside the next year. The McCrarys re cently lived in San Jose. At the end of an approximate one-year period they will go to the Philippine Islands. Neil McCrary is staff engineer for Dole Company. BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION MERRILL, Mrs. Fred Fiege was feted July 7 on occasion of herth birthday. A potluck dinner at the recreation hall was given by her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Johnson. Fifty guuests were in attendance. Mrs. Fiege has 11 grandchildren and Jhree great-grandchildren. FUTURE BRIDE In September, Nancy Lee Baker will become the bride of David W. Ham of Louisville, Ky. Their engagement is announced by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Orville H. Baker, this city. He is the son of Mrs. Loretta Ham, San Antonio, Texas. The bride-to-be is a graduate of Klamath Union High School and is attending Robertson's School of Business. Her future husband attended Georgetown College in Kentucky before enter ing the Air Force. Presently he is stationed at Kingsley Field. Since coming to Klamath Falls he has served part time as minister of music at the First Baptist Church whore their wedding will take place. gJ.liMinYin-i'rTiWii Club Reports Busy Season Hostesses al recent meetings of the Klamath Saddle Club have been Beverly Negrevski, Vi Hill, Dorothy Harrington, Juanita Stevenson, L y v i na Mattoon, Bertha Colwell and Dottie Poole. Activities of the club, particu larly busy at this season of Die year, have centered around the rodeos. The members rode in all the grand entries of the rodeo. Fourth of July parade and queen's tryouts. They also served as chaperones for the queen's court. The senior court and jun ior contestants were guests at a party at the home of Mrs. Jim Stevenson, at which time Queen Sandy Woodard was presented a saddle blanket. At the July 4 performance a saddle blanket was also given to Junior Queen Ann Rodgers by the president, Dottie Poole. . Saddle club members sponsored the concessions al both rodeo events. A recent new memher wel comed to the dub is Marlene Fry. At one business meeting it was voted to give a campership to the Juniper Girl Scouts. The next meeting on Aup will be a dinner meeting with Bonnie McMahon and Clara How ard in charge. ANNIVERSARY NOTED Mr. and Mrs. Al Nybaclc were feted by friends at a surprise reception in tht Winema Hotel on the occasion of their 30th wedding anniversary. Surprise Party Fetes Nybacks Mr. and Mrs. Al Nyhack cele brated their 30th wedding anni versary at a reception and buffet supper in the Winema Hotel. The affair was a complete surprise to the Nybacks, just as hoped and planned by their daughter and her husband, Mr. and Mrs. Monte Voight. Assisting with the party were Mr. and Mrs. Stan Soran, Mr. and Mrs. George Blanas, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Davies, Rowcna McDonald. Mathew Del Falli and Mr. and Mrs. Walter Heifer. Jane and Gail Voight attended the guest book. The 'reception room was dec orated by Rowena McDonald and Mathew Del Fatti with baskets of pink and white gladioli, chrys anthemums and daisies .Guests were seated al small tables dec orated with white and pink ele gance carnations with pink can dles. On the buffet table were two French candelabra arrangements ot light green (ugii chrysanthe mums and pink Minerva carna tions. A picture of the honored pair topped the elaborate wedding cake which was decorated with pink and silver and a winding stairway of 30 steps. On the table a garland of pink elf roses and carnations encircled the cake and silver candelabra. Upon arrival, guests were greet ed and presented a carnation by the hostesses. Mrs. Nyback wore a corsage of three white Japhet or chids and her husband a white rosebud. Out-of-town guest included Mr and M-s.
