There's no rule for the unmar ried ones be cause you just I don't expect it to happen to them. It did happen, however, to a secretary in her 30s and this is what I'm writing about. She remained silent about her condition and continues to work though anyone could see she was expecting a child. She didn't wear maternity clothe?,, but kept to skirls and blouses in large sizes. When she became enormous the office manager asked her to take a leave of absence. Seven weeks later her baby was born. Three weeks have passed and the woman is back at work. She's about 35 pounds lighter, and acts as if everything is just ginger peachy. We don't know if she has re leased the child for adoption or what. She hasn't said one word about what happened. We feel her behavior is outrageous and would like your advice on how to treat her.-WE GIRLS Dear Girls: Treat hrr exactly as you would like to be treated if the same thing had happened to you. Dear Ann Landers: We live next door to a family which has five children. They range from 12 years of age down to 3. Our children who are 11 and 9 would rather be next door than home. They want to sleep there, eat there and are often included In outings and excursions with the neighbors' children. 1 have told the mother repeated ly that I feel guilty, adding the burden of our two to her fivo, but she assures me she doesn't mind since our children are "a pleas ure to have around." I fear, however, that the warm relationship is creating a delicate problem religion. Our children are becoming more than casual ly interested in the religion 0.' the family next door. My husband is afraid they may want to change. We have permitted our young sters to go to church with the neighbors and they are fas cinated with the ritual. Any ad vice'.' BBC. Dear B.B.C.i And what Is the spiritual climate In your home? Do you and your husband take your children to worship? Do they attend Sunday School? If a child's spiritual needs are not satisfied at home it Is not surprising that he would look else where, I suspect you have been drrrlict in your duty and now the neighbors' religion is filling the vacuum. Get busy. Hear Ann Landers: Our dauch ler who is 21 will be a November bride. Please help me with this headstrong girl. Miriam has a wealth ol chest nut brown hair w ith beautiful au burn highlights. Last year she had it chopped off and is now wearing a boy-bob. It looks simply atroci ous. I can't figure out why she did it. Miriam's hair has always been her best feature.
