Oakland Rites . Unite Couple , . The marriage of Mary Flor . fJUe Stoner, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert F. Brown, feeattle, . and Roger Allen Lentz took place ..June 15 in Trinity Lutheran . Church in Oakland, Calif, lie is (lie son of Mrs. George Taylor, Klamath Falls, and Robert Lentz, Medford. Pastor Gordon Hanson officiat ed before the altar decorated with white flowers. The bride was given in mar rinse by her step-father. She wore a floor length gown of white ' silk organza over taffeta with ap 'plique roses. The elbow length -veil was held in place by an embroidered silk organza head piece. The bridal bouquet was a combination of chrysanthemums, roses and gardenia. The six pence in her slipper was a gilt of the bridegroom. Elizabeth Joan Warrack, Seat tle, maid of honor, was dressed! in a turquoise blue silk shantung frock with matching headpiece. Blue daisies and white rosebuds formed her colonial bouquet. John Warren Lentz, Hayward, Calif., was best man for his brother. After the church ceremony a reception was held in the church parlors. The newlyweds will make their home for the summer at Sacra monto where he is employed as engineer for Acrnict General They will return to Berkeley in the fall and he will continue his graduate study at the University of California. Both are graduates of University of Washington ir ! Pink and white carnation cor sages were worn by both moth ers. Mrs. Johnson chose a blue jersey dress and Mrs. Maxwell wore a green cotton frock. A reception was held in the par lors of the church. Among the guesta were Mr. and Mrs. George Houck, Klam ath Falls, Grandparents of the bride, and Mr. and Mrs. George Maxwell Sr., Medford. , The newlyweds will make their home in Merrill. Bratton, this city, have ennouncod the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Julie Lyn, to Troy Reynolds, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. G. Reynolds, Glendale, Ore. The future bride has completed her freshman year in ele mentary education at Southern Oregon College where she will continue her studies next fall. Her fiance is a graduate of SOC and is employed by Perrine's Store in Ashland. The weddinq will take place Aug. 24 in the Bible Baptist Church in Klamath Falls. Norman N'augler officiated at the 2 p.m. ceremony. Given in marriage by her fath er, the bride wore a ballcrir.a length gown of white luce over taffeia with a fingertip illusion veil secured by a tiara of rhine stones. A white orchid centered the nosegay of pink rosebuds which she carried on a white Bi ble. The bride designed and fashioned her wedding gown, veil and going away outfit which was a yellow suit worn with white hat and the bridal orchid. The matron of honor, Mrs. hmmy foster, Glendale, W'ore a blue taffeta princess style baller ina length frock and briefly veiled hat of white leaves and petals. Similarly styled were the dress ; of the bridesmaids, Virginia, Perry, who wore lavender, and Blanche Coatc, dressed in pink. Their hats were like the honor attendant. All carried nosegays of rosebuds with ribbon streamers matching their frocks. Flower girl, Jan Nauglcr, was dressed in a full skirted orchid nylon dress and carried a white basket of pink rose petals. Polhasi j 7f". Burney, former resident of this city, received his bachelor of science degree June 8 from University of California at Berkeley. Robert Keith Addington, Klamalh Falls, and Garrison Mitchell. Ush ers were Harold Bollinger, Wall S.D., brother of the bridegroom, and Jimmy Foster, Glendale. Wedding music was played at Hie piano by Mrs. Joe Tayne. Jue Payne sang "True Love before the entrance of the bridal pro cession and Mrs. Fred Wright sang "The Lord's Praver" al the close of the ceremony. Decorations were in keeping with the pastel theme. At the front of the church w-ere baskets of pink and white peonies. In the place of the altar was a kneeling bench and on each side small white fencing covered with sum mer blossoms. Bouquets of rhodo dendrons and pastel color tapers completed the pretty setting. Mrs. .Mill wore a pink and white lace dress with white ac cessories and pink rose corsage. Mrs. Bollinger chose a pink taf feta dress with lace jacket, white corsage. Following the wedding a recep tion was held in the church par lors. The cake, centering a long table covered with white linen, was five tiered and was decorated with pink and white roses, wed ding bells and lovebirds. On top a miniature bridal pair stood with a white wedding bell. Other tables were lace covered. At the guest book was Mrs. Roy: Mill. Applegate. Calif., aunt of the hride. Gifts were received by Mrs. Loren Milliren, Portland, j Another aunt, Mrs. Frank Mill. Occano, Calif., and Mrs. Riley Furlong. Grants Pass, served the cake. Mrs. C. E. Young, grand mother of the bride, served eolfee and Mrs. S. W. Perry served punch. The bride is a graduate of Glendale High School and her hus-1 band of McLoughlin Union High1 School in Milton-Frcewater. Both; were graduated from OTI where1 she majored in accounting and the bridegroom in diesel mechanics. Tlie couple are now at home at .116 McKinley Street in Klamath Falls.
