The trips are open to all boys in grades four through eight. There s still time for interested boys to sign up at the YMCA. Fire School Win Goes , To Klamath The Klamath Ranger District won the Winema Guard School Trophy at the close of the three day fire school held at the Seven- mile Guard Station, near Fort Klamath, from Tuesday through Thursday of last week, according to Dan Abraham. Winema For est fire control officer. Competing for the award, oth er than the winners, were the dis tricts of Chiloquin and Chemult. which won the trophy the lirst time it was given last year. The winner was determined on jthe basis of the aggregate results of a written examination and five events testing the efficiency of members of each fire district in applying fire-fighting techniques. In the only competition among individuals, two employes of the Klamath District placed first and second in the compass reading and pacing contests. They were in their order of finish, William R.
