the floral bedecked Midland
Grange Hall when the fifth de-
gree of the grange order was re
cently presented to 18 candidates.

Bill Novotny is the captain of

formed the drills with grace and
precision, adding to the degree
work of the order. He presented
corsages to women of the drill
team.
A social hour with refreshments;

group of approximately 20 adults
and college students led by Dr.
J. A. Jonasson of the Linfield
College History Department. Stu
dents taking the tour for college
credit will attend two hour lec
tures daily oil ship to and from
Europe. They will also keen
diaries of their travels and will
write papers during tho return trip

visit England, Scotland, Wales,
Holland, Denmark, Belgium, Ger

Following the wedding a din

was held at the home of the bride
groom's parents. Later the newlv-
weds left for a trip to Klamath
rails and Portland.
While in this city, friends and
relatives of the bride were guest
at a reception in Uieir honor at
the Rodriguez home. A three tier
wedding cake was decorated with
pink and topped by wedding bells.
