Angeles Music Center. Seats sold
at $230, but many contributions
were made beyond the l.Sll-seat
capacity o the sold-out Pantagcs
Theater.
During the intermission for the
picture, actress Rosalind Russell
announced that $1,094,403.(16 was
raised for the music center, as
suring that construction of the
center theater, one of three, can
begin this year. It is the only
one not yet fully financed.
The $25 million music center
for the performing arts Is being
built on the crest of a lull that
overlooks the Los Angeles Civic
Center.

SPRINGFiELD (UPH Three-month-old
Timothy Scott Snider of
Mohawk was killed and three
others members of his family in
jured Wednesday night when their
car crashed into a light pole in
supermarket parking lot here.
The father, Fred L. Snider, 27,
suffered a broken arm. His wife.
