Edge got the victory for the Pumpers on a neat five-hitter. His mates backed him up with an 11-hit attack which beat loser .N'ealy. Caldwell led the Pumpers with a triple and single. Milligan had a double and single, Buhrig a dou ble, Itainwater a pair of singles and Hill a pair of safeties. Say ler was the only player for the losers to notch a pair of hits, both singles. Local Loan edged the Eagles with a two-run rally in the filth frame on singles by Warren and winning pitcher Randy Simonsen and a double with both runs j scoring on Ralph Jennings' dou-1 bles. Beck took the loss as both teams chalked up 12 hits each. Catcher John Fen-ell led the Loaners with three sinplcs in j four trips to the plate. Jennings had a single to go with his dou ble and Fanning garnered two hits. The losers were led by lead off hitter Mills with three sin gles. Bennett had a double. Green a pair of singles. I Directors Meet The annual Board of Direc tors meVthig for C I t y Junior Bowling will be held Friday night at Holiday Bowl, begin ning at 8 o'clock. There will be an election of new officers and other business for the coming season in junior bowling. The Crater Cats, one of the favorites in the Klamath Basin Babe Ruth League, remained un defeated Tuesday night as they swamped tlie Elks, 12-1, and Gun Store notched it first win in five outings with a 6-0 victory over Muyina Heights. The Cats rode the one-hit pitch ing performance of Bob Williams, his second pitching victory in as many outings as a converted catcher. He whiffed nine in the four innings he pitched. The game, which usually is a five inning affair, finished in four be cause of the 10-run rule. Greg Decker got the only hit off Williams and it was with two out in the final frame to ruin Wil liams' no-hit chance. The hit was a triple. Williams also was the only Cat to get a pair of hits among the winners' eight safe ties. He had a pair of singles. Bob Moore slammed a triple and Sam Wickline and Arnold Johnson slapped doubles. Gun Store got its first win aft er (our losses. It came off a line two-hit pitching performance by Dave Lyman. Kenny Pound ab- sorbed the loss on giving up sev en hits. Lyman also led the Gun Store hitters with a perfect night with two triples and a double while Mike Pisan was the only other with two hits, both singles.
