city. Pine Street was extended

black top on W. Alma; curbs and
gutters on Cedar; and new storm
drains will cost, the city an esti

contact the Richfield Oil Com

The Bear Claws, a parents'
booster club, will have conces
sions on E. Castle Street at the
July 4 celebration and also par
ticipate in the queen contest and
parade. Concessions will be open
July 3 to 7:30 pm. and July 4 to
10 p.m.
The council went on record as
opposing Senate Bill No. 1491
which calls for a tax on motel
and hotel trade.

Union, in tests designed to boost
its manned space program, has
fired rockets nearly 7.500 miles
into the central Pacific Ocean,
Tass said today.
The Soviet news agency said
the final stages of the rockets
hit their target areas with a
high degree of accuracy."
The tests were carried out May
