Davis never realized his ambi tion to play professional football. Following his graduation from Syracuse University last summer doctors discovered the leukemia that led to his death last Satur day in a Cleveland hospital. 'CPU-Arnold Palmer, one of golf's greatest money winners who has been resting from the tournament grind, is "hitting the hall a lot better" and regaining his confi dence in preparation for a return to the pjay-for-pay circuit.
