She was present for the baptism of her 5-month-old granddaughter, Carla Luann, on Sunday at Zion Lutheran Church Medford. The measures on tlie ballot budget resulted in 64 votes for and 29 against. MRS. L. LEWIS KANDRA re. ,'ently spent three weeks w ith her daughter and family, the Hank Wilkins, in Olex, Ore. The Wil kins are the parents of a baby girl, Tara Denee, and a son, Keevyn Dayne. Other grandpar ents are Mr. and Mrs. Lester Wil kins of The Dalles. MRS. VERA HOWELL, Mac- docl, spent Sunday here visiting friends. MRS, HAROLD FREEMAN spending some time in Broken Bow, Neb., with her mother, Mrs. A. E. Carpenter, who has been ill. MRS. HILARY WINEHARGER and children recently moved to the Steele Swamp Ranch. Wine barger has been there for several months, but due to bad roads the family was unable to move at that time. MR. AND MRS. HUBERT MORELOCK were guests of Mrs. Maggie Criss in Macdoel. MRS. GORDON KANDRA spent several weeks in Olex, Ore., visit ing with her sister-in-law and fam ily, the Hank Wilkins. GEORGE WEICKER of Aurora, Ore., recently died. Weicker was a former Malin resident. MR. AND MRS.
