I : J HELP SYMPHONY PROJECT Marie Obenchair,, left, and Mrs. George Blanas, both members of the Klamath Falls Woman's Library Club, help with the drive to es tablish a Klamath Community Symphony by distributing posters telling of the concert to be presented Tuesday evening, May 14, at Mills Auditorium. The two women will also be in charge of a concert ticket sale at the Monday meeting of the library club. Library Club To Meet The Klamalh Falls Woman's Library Club will have its final meeting of the club year on Mon day. May 13, at 2 .p m. at the city library. At this annual business meeting the nominating committee will make its report and new officers will be elected and installed. Mrs Walter Brown, a state commit tee chairman and past state presi dent of OKWC, will be the in stalling officer. Highlight of this final meeting will feature, as in the past. spring musical, arranged by the music chairman, Marie 0 b e n- chain. The program will include selections by several outstanding musicians, whi are among those who will play in the Community Symphony concert Tuesday, May 14. at Mills Auditorium Appearing on the library club's program will be Patricia Isen- see. first violin; Stephanie Spetz. second violin; Mary Van Vactor, piano; Mary Ellen Johnck, flute; Barbara Poulshock. soprano; Bar bara Shields, piano; Margaret and Joyce Jolly, cellos; Barbara Cofer, violin, and Gail Pence, ac companist. Tea will be served at the social hour by Mrs. Henry Perkins and her committee. All women of the community are invited to attend the meeting. A nominal fee will be charged non-members. Corsages of cold poppies, in honor of the 50th anniversary of the organization's founding were presented to the (.old Star Moth ers and each received a gift of a gold taffeta smocked cushion. The proaiam was conducted by can dlelight. Several skils were pre sented by Tost members. The mothers were Greeted by post commander and auxiliary presi dent, Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Nicholas. The annuil Poppy sale will be held May 24 and 25. Funds from this support the national home. Mrs. Rosa lee Durkee is chairman.
