this way: The fee for overnight
camping is $1 per day. The vend

ground entrance. The prospective
camper drives In, selects a camp
unit, and returns to .the vend.

I was married fur 28 years to
a fine woman. She helped mc
build a business from the ground
up. t don't know how slie found
the energy to run our home, have
four children and be my right
hand in the business, too. but
she did. She even took care of
my sick father until he died.
Three years ago a well-shaped,
lively girl came to work for me.
She had been married and was in
the process of getting a divorce. 1
was flattered by her attention
and soon we made plans to see
each other out-of-town on week

Asked By Cook
SALEM IUPH A study of
tourist facilities in Oregon was
called for today by Sen. Vernon
Cook, D-Gresham.
Cook said he had prepared a
resolution calling for an Interim
study by the legislature of "the
adequacies of existing tourist fa
cilities."
"Tourism is one of Oregon's
largest industries, bringing mil
lions of dollars into the state each
year." he said.
"Unfortunately, our facilities
are no longer adequate. An in
terim study would point out the
importance of this industry and
better inform the legislative and
executive branches of the need for
additional activities in the field."
Cook proposes a review of ad
vertising programs, state parks,
coordination between government
units involved, federal aid pro
grams, and related subjects.
