Paul Breithaupt, receives the scholarship given annually by Business and Professional Women to a Klamath County senior girl who intends to pur sue a business career. Ann plans to take elementary education at Oregon State Uni versity. Making the presentation is Frances Taylor, BPW president. Ethel Whitlatch, BPW personal development chairman is at left. Entertainment at the annual affair hon oring senior girls included a style show by Bon Bazaar and Fashion Villa with OTI girls serving as models and Mrs. Katie Lake, commentator. Venture Club will stage a card party on Tuesday evening, April 23, in the it la. dmonel entertainment will be a fashion show from Don city library club room at 7:30 p.m. Proceeds from the one dollar admission will go to club service projects. Ad Bazaar, modeled by members of Venture and Soroptimist clubs. Rae Dean Marks is chairman of the party. Refresh ments will be served and prizes will go to each table in addition to the special prize of the hamper filled with assorted items shown by three Venture girls. Prosperity Lodge Meets At the last regular meeting of Prosperity Rebekah Lodge ducted by Noble Grand Charlette Anderson, delegates to the Re bekah Assembly were chosen. Sis ter Olive Hanna was elected first delegate and Sister Harriette Es- tes. second delegate. Mrs. Estes was also recommended as dis trict deputy president. This year the Assembly will be held at The Dalles on May 21, 22 and 23, Announcements were made con cerning the CCA award project and the rummage sale scheduled for Aug. 30 and 31. The Social Club will meet at the home of Juanita Lundsten on Monday, April IS, at 12:30 p.m. for a dessert luncheon. A spaghetti din ner will be staged at the hall on April 27. For the meeting, the hall was decorated with balloons and Jap anese lanterns. April Fool's pranks comprised the program. Refreshments were served by George and Helen Blanas, Paul and Olive Hanna and Edith Bar lccn and Tom Grubb. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Biles, this city. The young couple will reside in Bly where he is employed by Weyerhaeuser. Sorority Honors Three MOUNT SHASTA - An open meeting of Xi Theta Tau sorority was held April 4 at the home of Mrs. Robert Hill, honoring eli gible members for exemplar chap ter. Mrs. Aaron Richardson was co-hostess. Those honored were Mrs. Loretta Tucker, Mrs. Jean Ferraris and Mrs. June Letcher, A cake was presented to Mrs. Arthur Adler on the occasion of her birthday. Each member made and mod eled a novelty Easter bonnet for competition, with Mrs. Tucker de clared the winner. E. Allen Weston of College of the Siskiyous was guest speaker. His subject was "Enjoyment of Art." Easter scenes were used to dec orate the room, witn aaiioaus and crocus on the table. A series of coffee klatches, held during the months of March and Am il. netted $45 to be contribut ed to the Siskiyou County Crip pled Children's Society.
