Deer Tag Count Slated

PUNSML'IIl Evaluation of the
12 deer season in Northern Cal
ifornia has been tentatively slat
ed for an all day meeting of the
Dunsmuir Mod and Gun Club at
the Dunsmuir City Hull, Sunday,
March 24.
If the deer fuss can be ob
tained from the state division of
fish and came for this annual
deer tag count, work will begin
at 9 am. Paul Carter, club sec
retary, will have data and charts
from previous years on display
at (lie .Sunday session.
At a nieeling Monday, the club
membership voted to work with
sportsmen's groups in Shasta,
Lassen, Modoc and Tehama coun-
ities to draft a uniform reiom
mendation for next year's dtvr
season in Northern California
The club also voted to broaden
its area of interest at the next
reeular meeting. April 8. when
Committees on game buds and
fishing will be appointed.
