Gene Favell was master of cere monies for the production. The portrayal of Kalherine's life was directed by co-chairmen. Dee Barkdoll and Beulah Balsiger. Ronald Bryan, vocalist, was ac companied by Glenn Kox. Stella Dehlinger portrayed Kalh erine's mother, who displayed the tiny red-haired, blue-eyed infant who had arrived at the home of Mr. and Mrs. William Peart .of Coquille in liM)9. Throughout the early years, Katherine had many enjoyable activities including be ing the captain of the Coquille Girls Basketball team. On this winning team were Marguerite Breithaupt. Peggy Harnsberger, Thelma Short, and Phyllis Poole. Queen Katherine enjoyed all the dances of the Roaring Twenties, including the Charleston which was danced by Inez Rush, Connie Jones, Peggy Chilcote, Pauline Pernell and RuUi McCart. The summer of 192H was the year in which Katherine was married to Chet Stonecypher They eloped to California in July. Betty Young appeared as the bride and Carrie Rush was the bridegroom. The Stonecyphers moved to the Klamath Basin in 1929. They live on a ranch near Tulelake. Thev have three children, Chet Jr., of Tulelake, Alice (Mrs. Robert, Laird , of Sacramento, and Capt. William Stonecypher, USAF. Following the preview of her life, Queen Katherine expressed her appreciation to the group. Lovely table decorations of white roses had been done by Beulah Elliott and her committee. Mrs. Gene Favell led the group in singing God Bless America at the close of the meeting. Present for the affair were Mr. and Mrs. Murray Gardiner and Mr. and Mrs. Jack Moreland, Med ford. Marina Gardiner and Pearl Moreland are Princess Royal and Princess Recorder, respectively, of ZJleima Temple. Miller, who were married March 2 in the Lutheran Church at Imperial Beach, were 'lonored at a reception at the Ski Bowl Cafe Sky Room. Mrs. Miller is the former Ruth DeFratis, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Allen Wisely, San Diego. The bridegroom is the grandson of Mrs. Louise Hackett of Mount Shasta.
