H Lakeview Quint Finishes Fine Cage Season LAKEVIEW i.Speciali - Tlic Lakeview Honkers had one ot tlieir most successful basketball seasons in many years this year. 1'ney finished the season with a !54 record, including the 9-5 rec ord in Rogue League action. The 1WB-G3 record was bettered irnly by the 1!H4 and 1061, each year u itli lfi victories "There were a number of out .standing players on the squad. Juniors Dennis Warren and Lar ry Samples were the top rebound ers and top scorer with 259 and 303 respectively, on the Lakeview team. Warren was also the num lr three scorer with 238 points. Tlus ranks them among the lead er in scoring (or the school. War ren is ranked 11th and Samples nin,th. Both were also nominated for all-state honors. Another top Honker was Dan Leahy, a senior. He was the sec ond leading scorer on the team wtih 2ti9 points and was ranked HIlJi in all-time scoring for Lake view. He was the third leading rcboundcr wilh 140.
