Carole Ziegelmeyer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Ziegelmey er, was crowned honored queen of Henley Bethel. Crowning of the new queen was performed by re tiring Queen Sue Kennon. Immediately following instal lation of the new Job's officers, Lost River DeMolay officers were installed. The gavel of the master councilor was given to Kent Good ing, son of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Gooding, by retiring Master Coun cilor Don Breithaupt. Immediately following the joint installation, the DeMolay Moth ers Club served cake and punch from a beautifully decorated re freshment table. Library Party j Time Is Near With last minute details now being checked, all is in readiness for the annual benefit tea and card party of the Klamath Falls Woman's Library Club, according to Mrs. George Blanas, general chairman. Mrs. Blanas and her committee workers have planned the after noon to be one of enjoyment for all women of the Klamath Basin, whether they play cards or n. The partv, which will benefit in part the intercommunity hospital fund, will be held in the Willard Hotel on Saturday. Feb. 2. begin ning at 1 p.m. Mrs. Lee joder, chairman of cards, states that all card games will be in play and asks guests to bring their own playing cards. 1 As special entertainment, Mrs. John Lake has coordinated a fashion show with styles from the Bon Bazaar and Fashion Villa. The show will be presented at 2' p.m. during the card playing time with models strolling among the tables to give everyone a bet ter view of garments. The fashion revue was also planned to be of interest to wom en not playing cards, who are cordially invited to come to the how and enjoy tea which will be served at that time. Background music will be played by Marie Obenchain. Although reservations are not necessary, those wishing to do so may call Mrs. h. V. Leslie at TU 4-8802. or Mrs. Leroy F. Car ter, TU 4-5881. Sojourners C'jiourners Club met Wednes day. Jan. 2.1. at the Willard Hotel with a buffet luncheon in the Pine Grove Room. Cards followed the meeting. Founders Day was celebrated Baby Boy 1 Joins Family nn its 2."th anniversary with a beautifully decorated cake. A his tory of Sojourners Club, found ed by -Mrs. LaNora Llliott, was read by Mrs. A. V. McVey. Six teen past presidents were intro duced and honored. Hostesss for the day were Mrs. Earl Nash. Mrs. D.ivid Jrnison and Mrs. Earl Votaw. In bridge. Mrs. Wayne Horton won lirst prize and .Mrs. .lacn Holt, second. In pinochle Mrs. Jack Judd. first and Mrs. Doug Napier, sec ond. The next meting will be Feb. 13 at the Willard Hotel. For further information call Mount Shasta Soroptimists V MOUNT SHASTA Soroptimist Club of Mount Shasta, at its regu lar breakfast meeting Jan. 23 heard a review and explanation of the club's by-laws, by Olivia Thebolt. Lucille Gardner. Bertha Lan- thier and Willielmina Clement at tended the Area Council meet ing. Southwest Region, in Para dise Jan. 20, and Mrs. Gardner gave a report on it. Rcrtha Lanthier brought up the citizenship award and Donna Krause volunteered to interview high schools in this area to de termine a girl to sponsor as a possible recipient of the $2000 scholarship, which is awarded by the Soroptimist Federation of the Americas. The Regional Conference will be held April 26-27-28 at the Wagon w heel in South Tahoe. David Hamilton is the name chosen by Dr. and Mrs. James Noel for their second son and third child, born Jan. 28 at Klam ath Valley Hospital. The voting jMrs. M Holliday.
