Jamboree Scheduled Friday The Boys Basketball Jamboree will be held in Pelican Court Fri day, beginning at 6:30 p.m.. with 20 teams competing for honor this year. The tournament, sponsored by the Klamath Falls Public Schools Department of Physical Educa tion and aided by hte Pelican Booster Club, will have 10 games with each game consisting of to five-minute quarters. Not more than one time out is allowed per team. Officials will be furnished by the Klamath Falls Officials' .Association. The grade school tournament begins at 6:30 with bacred Heart A taking on Peterson A. Sa cred llcail B meets Mills' first B team at fi:50. Roosevelt B tangles with Mills' second B unit at 7:10 and Koosevelt A battles Fairview A in the "i:30 contest. Free Throw Meet Set For Juniors The finals for the Klamath I n ion Public Schools free throw con test will be held Thursday at 4:30 p.m. at the old armory and the winners and runners-up will finish Saturday night in a shoot-off on Pelican Court between halves of the KUCratcr game. 'Y' Cagers Win Contests First Raptist and First Chris tian got victories Tuesday night in the YMCA Church League basket ball race while Suburban Chris tian and Merrill Presbyterian won games Monday night. First Raptist downed Church of the Brethren. 57-30, with Dedrick hitting for 17 points and Water house for 14. Dour Millar topped the losers with 13. First Chris tian downed Merrill Presbyterian in the oilier Tuesday night game, 19-13. Handy Smith netted six and Bud Thompson four for the winners while Gary Hodges had four (or the losers. Suburban Christian toppled lloiie Lutheran Monday night, 36-17, with Jerry Dui'fce notching 10 points and John Rusth sev en for the losers and Ed Arnam was high for the winners with 15.
