The couple exchanged wedding vows Sept. 2 in a double ring ceremony against a background of pink and white gladioli and ferns. The bride was given in marriage by her father. Her street length gown of white chiffon over taffeta was fashioned with short sleeves and scoop neckline. Bodice inter est was small bows with pearl trim. A briefly veiled small hat and white slippers completed her attire. She carried a cascade of cream and white gladioli and rose buds. Patricia Broyles. of Klamath Falls was her sister's sole attend' ant. Her frock was blue chiffon over taffeta and her bouquet was of pink and white carnations, - The brides father served as best man. , Mrs. Broyles attended her daughter's wedding in a blue lace dress with white hat and acces sories. Her corsage was of pink carnations. Members of both families and! close friends of the couple were present at a reception at the home of the newlyweds in1 Santa Barbara. White gladioli and white bells with blue tapers were used for decorations. The wedding cake, four tiered, iced in white with silver leaves and topped with a bridal couple under a lily of the valley arch, was made by the bride s mother. The bride s sis ter. Colleen Broyles of Santa Bar bara served the confection. Punch was poured by the bridegroom's grandmother, Mrs. Mary. Camp bell, assisted by Mrs. Ernie San doval. Mrs. Wolford is graduate of KUHS and presently is employed by the News Press in the Cali fornia City. Her husband is asso ciated with Hughes Motor Com pany. V ! ' ; ' j K i I , . An impressive obligation cere mony was performed by officers and members led by Blanche Marks, PWHP as chaplain. Visiting with Jean and her parents,- Mr. 'and Mrs. Jack Sau bert, last week was another mem ber of the team, Linda Meyers. She left Tuesday for Mammoth Mountain, Calif., to make prep arations for the training season Canton Crater The first fall meeting of the Ladies Auxiliary of Canton Crater! No. 7 was held on Thursday, Sepi. 14, at the IOOF Hall with the president, Lady Helen Blanas, in charge. The ceremony of draping the charter was performed by offi cers with Chevaliers Frank Mc Cornack, Charles Leib, Edgar Hoffman and Louis Kandra form ing honor guard, for Lady Nellie Wattenberg, past president of the Rebekah Assembly and also of the . auxiliary, who passed away Aug. 1 in Eugene. Plans for the official visit and inspection on Oct. 12 were dis cussed, with a dinner planned n honor of the state auxiliary presi dent, Lady Elmira Douma and the vice president, Lady Ida Terney. Reports were given on the two summer meetings held for the first time outdoors. The first meet ing was held July 27 in the gar den of Helen Blanas with Lorene McCollum and Margaret Biden as sisting with the potluck dinner. The second outdoor meeting was held at the home of Helen Mc- Cornack. A potluck dinner was served on the patio. A large group of members attended both affairs and enjoyed the meetings.
