DATE SET Mrs. John Novak, 1919 Manzanita Street,
announces the engagement and forthcoming marriage of
her daughter, Rita Maureen, to Dr. Robert Faust, son of
Mr. and Mrs. Victor Faust of Glenwood Springs, Colo.
The bride-to-be's father was the late John M. Novak. She
is a graduate of Sacred Heart Academy and Providence
School of Nursing in Portland. Her fiance is a graduate
of Creighton University in Omaha, Kleb. He served his
internship at Providence Hospital in Portland and general
practice residency at Salinas County Hospital, Salinas,
Calif. He is presently a Navy lieutenant stationed at a
Marine Cold Weather Traininq Base in Bridgeport, Calif.

Honolulu, Their engagement is announced by her par

attended Southern Oregon College and her fiance, Uni
versity of Hawaii. He )i presently with the Honolulu Police-
Department. His parents are Mrs. Margaret Croy

AAUW will open its fall session
of meetings with a Monday lunch

AAUW committees, and held
the offices of treasurer and vice
president of the Oregon division,
