A , o Butler Shooting Tale told To Cowan Jury (Hiarles Hood Sr.. found sleep ing Wednesday afternoon in a lo- cal hotel, testified Thursday after noon that he saw Ransom Cow an shoot Bybee Butler on May 26. Sowan, 63, of Chiloquin is on trial in circuit court for first de gree murder. Hood, 64, is the state's main witness. He was ar--fested Wednesday on a warrant charging him with contempt of court for failing to appear. Hood firmly maintained that he saw the shooting despite Uhaus- tive cross examination by J. C.
