Among possible opponents for Holmstrom in the race for speaker are Rep. Ed Whclan, D-Porlland; Rep. Norman Howard, D-Port-land; and Rep. Richard Eymann, D-Mohawk. Rep. Clarence Barton. D-Co-quille, chairman of the Ways and Means Committee, said he is not in the race for speaker. "At this point 1 don't think I'll be here next session."
